An iconic figure in our industry, creative guru and hair-up maestro, Patrick Cameron, understands we are living in difficult and complicated times. So he has come up with an inspirational way to support hairdressers worldwide by launching Education in Isolation.
Patrick took to Instagram Live to launch Education in Isolation to his legions of fans from around the globe. With viewers tuning in from all four continents, Patrick explained the format of the weekly broadcasts, which will provide hairdressers with a step-by-step tutorial and the opportunity to ask both Patrick and his Creative Director, Marco Erbi questions and receive the answers in real time. Providing hints and tips on creating his iconic long hair looks, Patrick will showcase a new look each week and review the products and tools he has used to create the look. In the first broadcast, Patrick focused on his most frequently asked question – “What do you have in your kit bag?” talking viewers through his must have tools including his renowned Patrick Cameron Brush. “This is a really exciting project for me,“ adds Patrick. “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to motivate and excite hairdressers from around the world, when many are subjected to isolation. Developing our skills is fundamental to our growth as hairdressers and my broadcasts are the perfect way to do this.”
Using the live streaming feature on both Instagram and Facebook on alternative weeks, Patrick will be presenting Education In Isolation each Monday at 10.30am, with the next session taking place as a Facebook Live broadcast on Monday 23rd March 2020.
