“Growing Together”, the secret to success and great attendance

The event that united for the first time some of the most popular brands of the Pettenon Group, including Alter Ego, Inebrya, Canola and Echosline, all under AGF 88 Holding.

A two-day meeting, on October 20th and 21st, very near to the magnificent town of Venice, was a special treat for the over 150 export clients of the Pettenon Group’s brands, together with representatives of the Italian management. An exclusive moment to illustrate corporate strategies for product innovation and new trends, also offering a special focus on the digital world.

Anticipations about next year’s marketing plans for each brand were presented and discussed with partners who came from all over the world.

Pettenon and AGF 88 Holding’s President Gianni Pegorin, together with CEO Federico Pegorin opened the event by quoting Henry Ford who said: ”Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”

This explains how and why “Growing together” not only makes headlines, but is the absolute keyword for this meeting and the history of this group, that has achieved great successes with their “Extraordinary journey in beauty”  – as Federico Pegorin defined it in his speech.

A journey that was symbolised by a tree set on the stage, where the roots represent the rich legacy and profound experience of the company, the trunk stands for the values that define the company, the leaves are all the partners and collaborators, while the fruits symbolise all the successful brands created over the long history of this all-Italian company.

And of course, there was mention of family values as well, which are the source and heart of their business. The guiding light of the Pegorin family is still Arthur, Gianni and Federico’s father, who will soon turn 95 and still represents an outstanding example of passion and dedication to his job and an undiminished will to keep up with innovation and creativity. A legacy that the Pegorin brothers are happy and proud to carry on.

After the welcome address, the stage was dedicated to many speeches on different aspects of the company activities and future plans.

Afsoon Neginy, AGF 88 holding’s COO Business, introduced the strategy of the main professional brands;

Max Damioli, performance coach, spoke about how to face change and be a winner; Elena M.G. Barbuzzi, Pettenon cosmetics’ R&D Director, shared her team’s research program with the audience; Susan Campbell, FIPI international PR Director, gave an overview on the 2020 hairstyle trends; and finally, Veronica Civiero, Global Solution Manager in the Beauty Division at Facebook, gave a comprehensive picture of the digital evolution in the beauty industry.

The agenda of this two-day meeting also allowed the participants to have some time to relax and visit the always charming and unique town of Venice. A wonderful way to conclude this “growing together” experience, while looking forward to the next one.
