The parent company of Pettenon Cosmetics keeps growing thanks to its ongoing drive in performance.
AGF88, an industrial group operating in the professional hair and skincare sector, announced they closed the fiscal year 2021 with an outstanding increase in turnover of 11% compared to the previous year. Export is still the main resource as the brands in the group reach 114 countries and boasts a consolidated presence in the most important global markets. Export represents 70% of a total turnover of €179 Million.

Afsoon Neginy, COO Business & Sustainability Director of AGF88 Holding said: “We are really proud of the results we have reached. This growth comes from our strategy of investment in fundamental assets like innovation, sustainability, branding and digitalization.
We have recently started our own e-commerce to complete our road to realising an omnichannel distribution and to answer a clear request of the market. In 2022 many brands of the group are having their debut online like Echosline, Fanolaa, Inebrya and also Alama Professional which is dedicated to the mass market distribution”.
Important improvements have been applied to the manufacturing processes. The group has now three different production sites, each one with a specialization: one for professional hair treatments, the second one for professional hair dyes, and the third one for skincare and aesthetician products. These infrastructures allow AGF88 group to run the complete production process from bottle blowing to the packaging and to offer a faster time to market.

Federico Pegorin, CEO of AGF88 Holding said: “We scored a great result last year mostly thanks to the performance of Pettenon the parent company of the group subsidiaries. We achieved 11% growth thanks to our products portfolio and a well-diversified range of clients”.
As part of the group as a whole, Pettenon Cosmetics embarked upon a sustainability drive in 2021, as well as becoming a Benefit Company, confirming from a legal point of view its commitment to operate in a sustainable way where profit is pursued together with common benefit goals.
